I understand the courage it takes to start this journey, and I approach each individual with empathy and compassion, recognising the unique challenges and overwhelming feelings that accompany this step.
Nourished Mind Therapy provides a nurturing and confidential space, helping you explore your experiences and navigate your journey towards healing, fostering positive change and self-acceptance. A space where you feel truly heard and understood.
My name is Vlatka Cesnik and I am a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor. With a degree in Nutritional Therapy, I adopt a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing.
I offer counselling that addresses a wide range of life challenges, including stress, anxiety, anger, grief, relationship issues, and personal development. My tailored support is designed to help you gain insight, build resilience, and make meaningful changes. I provide flexible short and long-term counselling, available both in-person and online.
I have extensive experience in mental health support, having worked with a mental health charity to guide individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, anger and other emotional difficulties. Additionally, I have provided counselling services at a cancer support centre, helping individuals and their families navigate the psychological and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment journey.
I work collaboratively, providing a confidential and non-judgmental environment where we can explore your inner world together.
My approach is integrative, meaning I blend different therapeutic models to create a personalised experience for you.
By incorporating person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural techniques, I aim to help you gain deeper understanding and navigate life's challenges.
I work with adults either in person or online.
With my expertise as a qualified Nutritional Therapist, I help individuals explore their relationship with food, and emotional complexities linked to food and eating habits. I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore the impact of food on your mental and physical well-being.

Recognising the strong link between nutrition and mental health, I believe counselling is vital for individuals with food-related conditions and disorders to effectively address both physical and psychological needs.
I offer individual counselling to adults either online or in person
