Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I want to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you get in touch.

I'll respond back to you within the next working day to confirm your booking or to arrange a time that works for both of us to have a phone or video conversation.

Initial consultation

In this  20-minute free initial session, it gives you the opportunity to ask any questions about counselling and for us to see if my approach is right for you. If we both feel it's a good fit, we'll schedule a full initial session. In this session, we'll delve deeper into your needs, discuss how we'll work together, and create a therapeutic agreement. This agreement ensures a clear, supportive, and collaborative framework for our ongoing sessions

The First Session

 

Our first session is a chance for us to dive into the core of what's brought you to counselling. We'll explore your experiences and feelings in a safe and supportive environment, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of what's happening for you. We'll also begin to clarify your goals for therapy and how we can work together to achieve them. This is the start of our process of discovery and healing.

 

 

Our Regular Sessions

 

Weekly sessions are recommended, preferably on the same day and at the same time, to establish routine and stability. Flexibility is available to accommodate unpredictable life events and work commitments, ensuring a schedule that meets individual needs.

  • In-person therapy  £70 for 50 minutes - at North London Therapy Centre on Thursdays
  • Online therapy (via Zoom or Teams) £70 for 50 minutes on weekday evenings

     Please note there is a 24-hour cancellation fee of 50%. Non-attendance will be charged the full rate.
